笨单词 LazyWords
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 20, 2026
Overview
LazyWords is a local-first English vocabulary learning app. The app does not require an in-app account and does not upload learning progress to a server operated by us.
Data We Store On Your Device
The app may store learning progress, selected difficulty, character choice, game inventory, local settings, audio preferences, battle history, and anonymous local identifiers on your device. This data is used to provide app functionality and restore your local progress.
Data Collection
The current version does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. We do not track users across apps or websites and do not sell personal data.
The app does not collect crash data, performance data, diagnostic data, user identifiers, or device identifiers for developer analytics.
iCloud Backup And Recovery
Learning progress remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up. When you use the backup or restore controls, LazyWords stores or retrieves a learning-state document from your personal iCloud Documents container. Learning-state backup is not automatic.
Verified purchase credits, paid spending, and paid entitlements are stored in your personal CloudKit private database so that the app can restore paid status across your Apple devices when you request recovery.
Speech And Audio
LazyWords uses device speech and audio capabilities to play English pronunciation, example sentence pronunciation, sound effects, and background music. These features are used for learning and gameplay.
Purchases
LazyWords offers consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account information. The app uses verified purchase history only to credit purchases and restore paid balances and entitlements.
Data Deletion And Your Choices
The app provides a control to clear learning data from the current device. Verified purchases and paid entitlements can still be recovered afterward. You can disable iCloud Drive or manage app data through your Apple ID and device settings.
Children
LazyWords is a general vocabulary learning app and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, purchases, storage, or cloud-recovery behavior changes.
